Each time I start gnuplot the gnuplot> prompt and my commands in the
gnuplot window have a very bad resolution (about 4-pixel height for a
character). The names of the tabs above are fine. When I click Options,
Choose Font I find size=12. I don't change it and click OK and then the
characters are back to normal. Any idea?

I take it you are on Windows? Which one? Gnuplot version? Since when
(i.e. did you update gp or windows) does this occur?

Windows xp (5.2.2600). Gnuplot version 5.0 patchlevel 7.

But everything was OK last week!

OK, nobody updated *those* for a while. Quite an antique system you
have there! ;-)

You can check if wgnuplot.ini contains sth. strange, and try to
rename or delete it. No idea how it could have been messed up, but
that´s where the font settings are stored.
